I was feeling so overwhelmed about what all I needed to do to intensify my practice, but after this call I felt excited and motivated! I too was having difficulties with my niche, but this class helped me ask myself some questions that will lead to a more finely tuned identifyable group of people. I am also feeling better focused with the specific ways to build a platform to market to the people I want to have as my clients. I was stalled at creating my website because I was nervous about how to get people’s attention, but the idea of knowing who I’m talking to and what will get there attention makes me excited about building this site! Thank you so much!

A wonderful call, as usual. I haven’t responded sooner because I’ve been thinking about my priorities–which action to institute first. Although I really value my “ideal client”, I am looking for a better niche where I can find a group of people with identifiable needs. I also am building a platform. The above web site is an old one in which I made all of the mistakes that Casey talks about. I have started work on a new web site. I also like the idea of giving myself points as an incentive to keep on going. Thank you!

Great, as usual Casey! I’m learning much more about offering a variety of products and “packages” for my practise. It’s exciting to think about new creative approaches to marketing. I was brainstorming all kinds of “pink spoon” products, and to take it further, 1/2 scoop products. I love this idea of funnel marketing and getting your message out to as many people as possible.
Thanks again Casey.

Of the many insightful questions Casey asked, I think that the one that most stuck with me is, “How your business goes is how your personal life goes.” Yes, of course! I can see how business coaching will have a ripple effect on the rest of my life – and I am now seriously considering Casey’s program.

Oh yeah, and the other great thing I learned on the teleconference call yesterday was about making a ONE BANANA website. That’s just what I need for my other, smaller target audience. Thanks for your expertise Casey!

I am going to take action! I looked in a target population newpaper and found a nearby support group for my target population and their families. Next week I’ll be sitting in thier circle, offering my genuine support and making contacts. Thank you for the call Casey!

Great call as usual Casey! I am always so impressed with how you have all bases covered for us! From starting out and finding a niche, to expanding into products and other therapy related streams of income. I know it can feel daunting, but I think it’s very exciting! It’s good to know that we can be creative and expansive, still of service to our clients and tend to our practice and financial needs all at the same time! I am looking forward to seeing things grow for everyone!

With Thanks!

I learned about building a platform–a method of delivering my message to those who want my services as a therapist. One of the ways to do this is to be interviewed by writers of local newspapers. I’m going to get this done!

Thanks for an informative and helpful call! It is perfect timing for me, as I have been contemplating and plannning how to implement some of these “pink spoon strategies”. Now I know there is a name for them!

I love the idea of finding a whole variety of ways to meet my clients needs. The call got me feeling so very excited and inspired about the possibility of reaching more clients in formats that would be meaningful to them. I love how clear your presentations are!

One thing I learned from the call is to try and pick a better niche for marketing to my ideal clients (i.e. think of the whole group of ideal clients, where they hang out together, etc.) to condense my time and energy in marketing. As a result of this call I will begin brainstorming about where my ideal client group may all hang-out together, etc.

The call was very helpful! The greatest benefit from it is to validate some thoughts I have been exploring as well as expand thoughts about possible products. As you said in the call, it is important to trust our gut. Still validation is really important to me. A new idea I really liked was to think about my ideal client and develop products especially for them which fill their needs and at prices they can afford. Another idea was to remind me to use a point system to define what I wish to accomplish each week. My first action item is to create clearer statements about ideal clients, what I perceive as their needs and what products can best serve their needs. Casey, thank you for the wonderful service you are providing to our profession!
