As you may know, my mission over the last year has been expanding beyond Be A Wealthy Therapist. While I still feel very passionate about helping therapists to build their practices, I am feeling called to help even more clinicians.
So this is the official announcement of our new name and expanded mission. We will be known as
The Therapists Leadership Institute
Dedicated to enhancing the lives, careers and reputations of therapists worldwide
(Just as a side note – what do you think sounds better: Therapist Leadership Institute or Therapists (with an s) Leadership Institute? Please let me know what you think of our new name in the comment section.

I definitely like Therapist (NO plural) Leadership Institute. It is easy to say; with an extra ’s’ it stumbles as I say it.
All the best with your new service.
Debra
My vote is for the singular. It’s a name that captures your abilities, shows why you do what you do! Enjoy.
Definitely Therapist Leadership Institute. Plural makes my tongue trip and goodness knows how painful that is… Ha! Have an awesome day!
Casey, I am with the others who are leaning toward the singular. Sounds more professional, and avoids too much of the “sssss’s” sound in one mouthful.
Singular sounds best. Sharon
KISS = Keep it Simple Sweetie!
Therapists’ would correctly describe your mission (as I understand it,) but being concise and easy is better for a title: “Therapist Leadership Institute.”
When prospective patients google me, I’d rather they view my connection or comments to this site name than to your previous named site: That didn’t sit well with me.
I love your work Casey. Thanks for your service to our community of hard working therapists!
Peace,
Allyn
I like Therapists’ (to claim ownership of the) Leadership Institute!
I prefer it in the SINGULAR. With the plural, you would have to apostrophize it; otherwise it would just be wrong without the apostrophe: “Therapists’ “
I think that the singular is crisper, better and easier(to apostrophe or not?).
I like it in the singular.
My vote is for Therapist. Thanks for giving us the chance to part of the planning process!

It definitely rolls off the tongue better without the “s”. It seems to personalize it more, unless you use an apostrophe, but I think the message behind the endeavor is what’s most important.
Great idea! Congratulations! My vote is Therapist. It is correct as a title and you do not have the complication of the use of the possessive using the apostrophe which you would have to have for Therapists. Also it does roll off the tongue better. In addition, if someone would try to Google it, they would have the added complication of figuring out the apostrophe, singular ’s or plural s’.
Hi Casey,
Honestly, I don’t have a preference for either, with the “S” or without. Just a side note: what do you mean by “Leadership Institute?” That therapists will lead? That you will help us develop our leadership qualities?
My own two cents: I think Therapist Development Institute (or something along those lines) sounds more accurate, albeit not as “sexy” as Leadership (and is also more consistent with your mission).
Good Luck and thanks for all the great information you pass along to us!
My vote is for ‘Therapist Leadership Institute’ – singular and without the beginning article sounds both personal and professional; like ‘Be A Wealthy Therapist’ I believe TLI ought to be specific, direct, and easily accessible … thanks for asking and including us in the process!
I think Therapists’ says it belongs to all. It sounds more to me like I can feel like I can be a part of it. Best of luck!
Therapist Leadership Institute sounds best to me, without “The” and without “s”. That way, the lead word Therapist is what sticks in the client’s mind. Thanks for your work!
Without an “s” sounds better.
I prefer Therapists with an S because it is for US, all of us, not a select few.
Ann
Hi Ya Kiddo,
I’m proud of you! Another big step for your business.
Since I will be telling people about the institute, Therapist, without the s, rolls off my tongue easier.
Pat
Therapist (without the “s”) sounds better to me.
I vote for Therapists Leadership Institute or even Therapists’ Leadership Institute.
Casey,
Thank you for your great work. And thank you for the book. I am really enjoying it.
Hi Casey. What an impressive conference and ideas you are generating for the field. Way to go! I vote for “Therapist” not “Therapists.”
Take care,
Steve
Hi Casey
I think Therapists’ is very inclusive and still includes persons individually.
Jean.
Lose the “s” on therapists. Too hissy and snaky and confusing.
This is a great project Casey! I’m still working on the marketing material, and I expect it to help my referrals. When I read the email you sent the title went straight to my heart. My first thought when critiqueing: Therapist can be singular or plural in this instance. However, as I read it, w/”s” it makes it clear that it is for licensed therapists only, which puts it in ‘the beyond graduate school’ level. I may be making an incorrect assumption here, but once your licensed the whole set of difficulties and rewards we face are totally different. I’ll look forward to hearing more!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Therapists’ more applicable since it is being marketed to multiple therapists in regard to their leadership?
Without the S flows a lot better…
I prefer Therapist (w/o the s) — it sounds more professional, personal, and more tailored specifically to me!
I prefer ‘Therapist’ without the ’s’. It flows better, it is more personal, indicating personal attention.
Congratulations on your new project & best of luck with it! I think Therapists Leadership Institute would be best becuase you are targeting a lot of people!
Sincerely,
Claudia
Singular is my vote. I like the new title because it lets me think I am in a leaderships role and that feels pretty powerful.;)
Therapists sounds more collaborative, as in an organization of therapists helping each other although it is more difficult to pronounce.
