Remember “Cheers” – the community bar in Boston filled with lovable misfits? The regulars came after work to connect with one another over a beer and share life’s concerns. I loved it whenever Norm entered, and everyone stopped and yelled “Hi Norm!”

The internet has brought us together globally in ways the Cheers crowd could never have imagined. But what if the Dianne, Carla, Frazier, Woody and Sam chose to stay home and connect on Facebook instead?

It is time to reconnect – face to face – with the people who don’t know you yet but need you.

Interesting. I am on facebook quite a bit and end up chatting with people and having good discussions online where otherwise I would just be home by myself – which is fine but also nice to have that interaction even if it is on the computer every once in a while. I have connected with so many people, some of which have added to my life and vice versa. Face to face interaction is a better way to connect , of course, but not always possible due to work/family or other obligations. If possible, I would encourage more face to face but when not possible, facebook to facebook works!

Nicely done, other than volume was so low, I could hear little.
