I want to share the big announcement about the new “beta” multiple streams of therapy income group starting soon.
But first, please let me share a story and give you an update. (If you can’t wait though, please then click here.)
For some time now it has bothered me that we therapists lose money when we need to take time for ourselves or our families.
As you may know, in 2007, my husband Bob suffered an acute attack of glaucoma. I am happy to report that, four surgeries later, his eyes are doing very well. At his most recent checkup, the doctor said his eyes were the best he had seen them. Bob now wears no glasses which is amazing since he had worn glasses or contacts for 48 years.
All those surgeries and the fact that Bob couldn’t drive for 16 months, meant I needed to spend quite a bit of time away from my business. Had “the troubles” (as we call them) been a few years earlier, when I was a practicing therapist, my income would have been severely impacted since I needed to be away from the office so much.
However, since the income in my business now comes from other revenue streams besides one-to-one sessions, I was able to continuing earning income while I was spending time with Bob.
I hope you and your family don’t have troubles like these. But, I have to ask, what type of business model have we created for ourselves if we lose money in order to take care of ourselves or our families?
Well, for this, and many other socio-cultural factors related to how mental health is viewed in the general population, I predict we are on the brink of some very big changes in how we deliver services.
It is time to consider the multiple streams of therapy income business model. This means creating products or services that make you money when you are away and allow you to help more people than you ever could in your office alone.
Okay – so that brings me to the announcement. Later this year, we at International Therapist Leadership Institute will be starting some Multiple Streams of Therapy Income classes and new groups(taught virtually over the phone and internet). You will learn what to do to create this type of business for yourself.
But first I want to run a “beta” group. In case you aren’t familiar with the term “beta”, it means “pre-release.” This is a one-time group that will be taught quickly – in just 8 weeks. My intent is to make sure that I mold the curriculum of the upcoming groups to suit your needs.
So I want to teach this information – what to do to create a business that is beyond one to one sessions to a smaller group of people for the first group. I want to share my lessons with that smaller group and get your input and feedback as you learn what to do to create your own multiples streams of therapy income business. I will then take that information as we flesh out our curriculum for the fall.
This ground-breaking beta group is calledBeyond One to One Sessions. It will be taught over the phone and internet over eight weeks with two 60-minute class sessions per week. The $147 fee for this group will be a fraction of what the fee for later groups will be since this is a “beta group.”
That is right - a one-time fee of $147 for all 16 classes and the recordings of all calls. (That is less that $10 a class!) We even have apayment plan available. And if you can’t make the sessions, no worries – you will have the recordings to listen to at your leisure.

Okay I am off to polish the curriculum. We will start with how I see the future of this profession changing and what you must do to be ready for it.
