Sometimes when we are starting out, there are so many questions. I know – I’ve been there. I want to help you get your questions answered and get you ready to “jump start” your practice.

Don’t waste your time and money making costly mistakes like I did when you are starting out! I put my hear and soul into these so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I did!

1. What should I look for in an office? I once forgot to check the parking lot lighting before I signed the lease. Well, there was no light at night and my evening clients were afraid to go to their cars by themselves.
2. How much is it going to cost? Should you rent by the hour, the day? Do you need you own office?
3. What to do about phones? Land line versus cell phone? Pick the one that will work best for you, your business and your family. Here we talk about the pluses and minuses of both.
4. “What is the fee?” The biggest reason that I believe that therapists tend to fall short of their financial objectives is because they haven’t thought out the fee. In this section we discuss what the fee means to you, your client and your future.
5. How to set and negotiate your fee with ease. In this section we talk about how to set your fees so that you feel great about stating your fee. I give you the script that you can use during intake calls that have been proven to increase therapist’s income! (My one-on-one coaching clients pay me $700 for this!)
6. When and how to collect your fee so you can make the money you desire. Most therapists don’t give any thought to when to collect the fee. After a lot of trial and error, I found what seems to work the best.
7. Should I take credit cards? Give this careful thought. The economy of the world is built on credit!
8. How long does it take to build a practice? Don’t get discouraged but be realistic. I wish I had known the answer to this when I started out!
